Vision Specialist Technician
Cartago, Costa Rica, CR
This is a permanent-full time position to work in our Cartago site, located in Zona Franca La Lima. Medical insurance, asociation, gym, cafeteria subsidy, free transportation and other, are part of our benefits package
Our TST-Vision Specialist is responsible to bring support in different Value Streams areas, Improvements, and Ops Dev, performs all types of changes in Vision Systems, adjustments and integrations with other systems and all types of PLCs.
Major areas of accountability
- Show knowledge in Vision Systems as Cognex and Image House
- Able to read electrical diagrams using the PC Schematics software
- Perform machine improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and solve vision system issues and performs the parameters change under supervision
- Performs maintenance routines of the vision system and execute them easily under supervision
- Able to use the software Vision Pro or Checker or Image house
- Performs the backup of the vision systems under supervision
- Other duties as assigned
- Will work closely with Operator for the first machine run.
- Will work closely with the Technical Operator for the first machine run.
- Will have to request spare parts and raw material for machine tryouts/run in.
- To solve any quality related issue and to run all Validations under supervision
- To solve any machine related issues that cannot be handled by the immediate Production Group.
Essential qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Diploma or Technical Degree from a recognized educational institution in electronics, electromechanics, mechanics, industrial automation or related area.
- More than 4 years of experience in technical positions or related areas.
- English level A2+.
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings (electrical, mechanical)
- Shown Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Show understanding and PLC programming knowledge in Allen Bradley or Omron or Siemens
Preferred qualifications
- English Level B1.
- Knowledge of Medical Industry machinery and production processes.
- Knowledge in PC Schematic, EPDM
- Experience on regulated industries
- Knowledge in PLC is a plus
- Knowledge in PC Schematics, Factory Talk View, iFix, NB Omron Simatic Touch is a plus.
- Knowledge of Medical Industry machinery and production processes.
- Knowledge on machine transfers oversea.
- Knowledge on basic programming is a plus
- Experience on industrial automated machine maintenance
- Knowledge on vision systems is a plus
