Job Function Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the preventive maintenance program and corrective maintenance troubleshooting process, to ensure the equipment availability and reliability required to fulfill the production needs. Support technician leaders to solve technical equipment issues Also, keep adjusting the preventive maintenance plans, including activities that reduce or eliminate the corrective maintenance issues and maintain the necessary spare part inventory. 

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Coordinate and assign the necessary resources for the preventive maintenance program execution. Goal is to complete 100%, on time and efficiently
  • Perform a monthly PM Schedule
  • Follow up on the corrective maintenance problems and perform root cause analysis on the major equipment offender
  • Look for alternatives on obsolete spare parts
  • Review and update the maintenance plans
  • Use of the OEM manual for troubleshooting, 
  • Ensure equipment spare parts availability
  • Assure maintenance documentation be correctly completed, accurate and timely
  • Reduce MTBF y MTTR in 10% compared to previous year
  • Warranty the startup equipment after preventive maintenance to be stable in less than 2 hours, minimum previous performance 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the technicians
  • Follow up safety and quality regulations
  • Perform the approval hours and overtime, to ensure the correct payment to direct reports 
  • Drive, at least 2 annually, improvements projects to reduce equipment downtime
  • Reduce or eliminate NCs or CAPAs related to maintenance, close if any
  • Follow MBP (Manufacturing Best Practices)
  • Strive to zero LDC accidents
  • 5% maintenance cost reduction (annual base).
  • Promote employees to work under safety conditions
  • Follow up safety procedures (LOTOTO, work at height, chemical safety, hot works)
  • Follow up manufacturing and quality best practices
  • Have 1:1s with direct reports and manager
  • Follow up Coloplast values
  • Ensure that employees receive adequate training


Responsible for:

  • Ensure that employees receive adequate training
  • Ensure awareness of the Quality and Sustainability EHS policy
  • Ensure awareness of their contribution to the effectiveness of the EHS system and the environmental performance
  • Ensure awareness of implications for not conforming with EHS requirements
  • Ensure good conditions related to EHS and prevent occupational injuries/diseases as well as environmental incidents.
  • Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
  • Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
  • Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
  • Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
  • Support the positive EHS culture

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Industrial Maintenance / Electromechanics /related or demonstrated experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar positions or demonstrates capacity
  • Minimum English level B1+
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in leadership roles.
  • Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Strong understanding of technical processes and methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office package.
  • Work experience in FDA or regulated industry is a plus


Prefer qualifications:

  • Experience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques. Certification on Lean or Six Sigma 
  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • English Level B2
