Technical Support Team & Improvement Leader

We are looking for a TST and Improvement Leader is responsible of leading and guiding all the Improvement Engineers to a feasible manufacturable design, that fulfills the needs of the customer and will be able to stick to the proposed budget and timeframe.

 

This leader will review all the projects before the Project Board Presentation, making sure they are feasible and approved in the board. After the project has been granted, the TST and Improvement leader will coordinate all tasks with the TST Technicians, making sure he/she allocates the correct technician to the correct project, assuring all resources can be designated on time for all approved projects.

 

 

 

Key areas of responsibility 

 

 

  • Actively participating in Lean activities
  • Represent the Local Operations Development team in all training tasks outside the country, if required.
  • Continuously explore the possible machine improvements in order to increase performance, and reduce scrap and downtime of the machines.
  • Document all improvement opportunities and roll out all this information to all Coloplast Sites.
  • In the absence of the local manager and/or Supervisor, has the right to make decisions and to take the necessary steps to ensure the continuity of production.
  • Define and scope each improvement project with a clear identification of stakeholders and deliverables
  • Drive troubleshooting and crisis situations to get the project back on track when needed
  • Perform the analysis & reporting of the risk, define and follow mitigation actions.
  • Determine and define improvement project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resources requirements
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Proper coordination between departments to make sure all improvement tasks will not interfere with the regular production.
  • Define and track the KPIs of the improvement processes.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Develop machine improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results.
  • Develop standard procedures and policies to be followed by the Engineers, technicians, and operators.
  • Train and guide resources as needed.
  • Work with various teams to reduce process and business variations.
  • Assist Managers in the management of capital projects.
  • Prepare project presentations for management when needed.
  • Review and update machine procedures and documents based on project requirements.
  • Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
  • Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
  • Drawing attention to the inefficiency of the system

 

Your qualifications: 

 

-Bachelor’s degree with scientific background: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or relevant experience

-Have 5-7 years of work experience in leadership positions

-Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Have strong teamwork abilities and communication skills familiarity with project management software tools, and methodologies, and best practicable to read and interpret technical drawings (electrical, mechanical)

-Able to share knowledge between Coloplast Site

-Excellent analytical skills

-Shown Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio)

-Live and reflect the values of closeness, passion, respect and responsibility.

-Lead by example and demonstrate professionalism

-Able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed.

-Good communication skills, both written and oral in English Level: B2 – Upper Intermediate level (base on the scale of the Common European Framework)

-Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

-Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks

-Be flexible and be able to deal with stressful periods.

-Able to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers

-Deep understanding of fine adjustments and tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturing machining processes.
