In Hungary, Coloplast is a highly successful and fast-growing organization, having delivered double-digit top-line growth consistently over the past few years. This success has been driven by strong commercial execution, deep engagement with healthcare professionals, and major reimbursement breakthroughs in both Ostomy and Intermittent Catheterisation.
Today, we are the market leader in both therapy areas. Our local organization consists of around 14 highly engaged colleagues, most of whom work close to customers and patients in the field. We are also about to move into new, modern, and attractive office premises, reflecting our ambitions and confidence in the future.
Hungary is a market with significant untapped potential, and we are now looking for a Country Lead who wants to build on a strong foundation and take the business to the next level.
Your Role
As Country Lead for Hungary, you will have full responsibility for Coloplast’s Hungarian business. This includes P&L ownership, commercial performance, people leadership, and representing Coloplast towards key external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a lean, sales-driven organization. You will work close to customers, employees, and partners, while also shaping the medium- and long-term direction of the business. You will be trusted with significant autonomy and accountability, and you will collaborate closely with regional and global colleagues.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the Business
- Own the overall performance of the Hungarian business, including strategy execution and results delivery.
- Translate regional and global priorities into a clear, actionable country plan.
- Identify and realize growth opportunities across existing and new business areas.
- Drive successful launches of new products, indications, and solutions.
Drive Commercial Excellence
- Hold full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
- Ensure strong go-to-market execution across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care.
- Follow performance closely and take decisive actions to secure sustainable growth.
Develop People & Culture
- Lead, inspire, and develop a lean, ambitious, and performance-oriented team.
- Create clarity, engagement, and accountability across functions.
- Act as a role model for Coloplast’s values, leadership principles, and ethical standards.
Shape the External Landscape
- Represent Coloplast towards healthcare authorities, payers, key opinion leaders, and partners.
- Further strengthen reimbursement and market access pathways.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships across the healthcare system.
Ensure Governance & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations and Coloplast policies.
- Maintain strong governance, transparency, and quality in planning and reporting.
- Bring best practices from across Coloplast into the Hungarian organization.
About You
You are a commercially strong, hands-on leader who thrives in a lean setup and enjoys being close to both people and the business.
We imagine that you:
- Are fluent in Hungarian and English.
- Have 8–12+ years of experience within MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.
- Bring solid commercial leadership experience, ideally with sales and market access responsibility.
- Have experience with P&L ownership or full budget responsibility.
- Understand the dynamics of a regulated healthcare environment, including interaction with authorities or payers.
- Are comfortable leading a small organization where impact, accountability, and visibility are high.
