Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift (3:00PM - 11:30PM)

  • Lead and further develop direct reports as well as team members
  • Supervise day to day operations adhering to all operational processes
  • Manage activities within agreed shift model
  • Develop and improve warehouse & logistic processes
  • Lead continuos improvement following the lean principles by example
  • Optimize cost and ensure cost competitiveness compared to third parties
  • Ensure the compliance with national and company Quality and Health & Safety rules 

 

Major Areas of Accountability

Run Operations 

  • Drive daily backlog free operation in assigned area in order to meet agreed KPIs 
  • Improve processes to establish an excellent operational model which is highly competitive to achieve the future goals 
  • Ensure innovation within agreed area of responsibility 
  • Making key operational decisions with the support of the Warehouse Manager 

   People Management 

  • Manage direct employees 
  • Achieve a positive and highly engaged team and culture 
  • Develop people, propose/manage trainings, ensure appropriate skill levels 
  • Ensure high quality SKill Management and quality culture 
  • Conduct TtTs, PfPs 
  • Drive People Survey actions > aim for good results 
  • Have effective, clear, concise communication to both Team members and level of management 

   Budgeting & Costs 

  • Give planning input to budget of all warehousing and logistics cost 
  • Drive Pick & Pack cost, identify potential overspend and propose corrective actions 
  • Ensure that cost related procedures are following corporate policies and local rules  

   Innovation 

  • Ensure continuous improvement process 
  • Implement and sustain lean methods/ install lean culture  

   Sustain Quality & Performance 

  • Report selected KPIs 
  • Ensure and control quality and performance of suppliers 
  • Shall follow and improve EHS and quality requirements

  • Comply to the relevant elements in section 4.3 of the VV-0113743 Quality Manual

Level of Decision Making

The position holder has all necessary authorities to carry out the tasks described under responsibilities, with the limitations mentioned below and with Coloplast general rules and guidelines: Position holder cannot:

  • Change own job description

  • Change the strategy – and /or activity plans
  • Involve external persons in projects, which may give them knowledge of strategical and tactical issues without previous acceptance from (relevant manager)

The position holder is authorized to make quality related decisions and handle lot status codes in E1 after being trained.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 – 5 years in Team Lead or Supervisor warehouse operations experience 
  • Proven experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) 
  • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain management or related field 
  • Experience in managing and leading people  
  • Excellent communication skills, including mastering state-of-the-art presentation tools 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Application tools 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent command in English speaking and writing 

 

Competencies & Skills (training provided during onboarding)

  • Training defined in the Global Distribution Training Catalogue
  • Basic ISO 9001/ ISO 13485
  • Basic MDSAP Audit
