Logistics Admin Specialist

This role reports into the US Logistics Admin Manager and is responsible for the management and development of the US DC data and KPI reporting. A key element of the role will be to identify and drive change initiatives, through data intelligent and data-based decision making. This role will also be the local Super User for the DC inventory management system and serve on the Global Distribution Super User Community while supporting demand planning and inventory control duties. Additionally, this role will be responsible for IT applications and serve as local point of contact for Global IT.
Major Areas of Accountability
- KPI Reporting - Understand and utilize Power BI to develop the KPI reporting and effect both transformational and cultural change in the DC to digitization. Moving from manual to automated reporting at every opportunity. Gain credibility through a deep understanding of how the DC works and be instrumental in developing the new analytics for use.
- Data Analysis – Provide accurate and timely performance data and business intelligence, be the ‘brains of the operation’ utilizing ‘deep dive’ analysis techniques to track trends, ensuring accuracy in the numbers. Ensure data is transparent, validated and reliable, whilst ensuring consistency and alignment between Local and Global reporting.
- E1 Super User- Train local users for authorized changes, plan and execute software tests, record and mitigate system failures with Global IT, ensure E1 setup meets global standards,
- Cycle Counting- Plan and conduct cycle counts, provide timely reports and ensure E1 is updated as directed annually by the Logistics Admin Manager
- Inventory Management- location and capacity management, reporting and reconciliation, expired product management, phase in/phase out, etc.
- Procurement- Manage inventory of office supplies and uniform assignment for distribution center staff.
- IT- support and participate in IT related projects and ensure smooth rollout locally.
- Continuous Improvement – Identify areas of waste in the data, undertake root cause analysis to present to the DC management Team. Lead change initiatives to reduce or eliminate ‘firefighting’ activities and make savings (in both time and cost). Provide training, coaching and mentoring for data analysis & systems understanding for other members of the team where required.
- QEHS - Shall follow and improve EHS and quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large-scale Logistics / Distribution environment, understanding of industry ‘Best Practice’ and able to apply knowledge and experience in a pragmatic way
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (JDE Oracle Enterprise One highly preferred)
- Excellent Microsoft Office capabilities, with a particular emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL
- Demonstrates strong proficiency and accuracy in data analysis and insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with very high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience of using Power BI – understanding of its capabilities, developing reports
- Project Management experience

Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $66,299 - 82,874. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
