Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Distribution Center.
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations, coordinating people, processes and systems to guarantee high service levels and compliance with company standards. The Warehouse Manager acts as a key reference point for daily activities, continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of Coloplast’s operational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order assembly and dispatch
- Ensure efficient use of space, equipment and resources while meeting quality, budget and environmental targets
- Maintain accurate stock control systems and ensure inventory reliability
- Plan operational capacity and anticipate future requirements
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean principles
- Recruit, train and develop staff, monitoring performance and fostering teamwork
- Ensure compliance with EHS, hygiene and security standards
- Communicate daily priorities to Team Leaders and ensure alignment across the operation
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and monitor service quality
- Supporte the achievement of cost budget targets and contributing to the DC’s financial stability
- Oversee maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
Education and Experience
- Degree or equivalent in logistics, management or related fields
- Be familiar with ISO 90001 standard
- Solid experience in warehouse management and logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and WMS systems
- Familiarity with Lean Management and continuous improvement methodologies
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
