Head of Commercial Development

As the Head of Commercial Development for Wound Care China you will play a leading role in the continued efforts to develop and implement the strategy and operations of one of Coloplast’s top priority markets.

 

You will take responsibility for both Commercial Excellence and Business development, and you will be part of the Wound Care management team and report to Vice President, Wound Care China.

 

Your team will function as partners and advisors for both senior management as well as the China Wound Care sales- and marketing organization.

 

You will get an attractive commercial role with Coloplast with lots of career potential. You will be leading a team of 3 and will be based in Beijing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead Wound Care business strategy development and conduct market research activity for marketed and pipeline products
  • Lead WC commercial development team and responsible for commercial excellence of all legacy products especially in commercial stage
  • In charge of the WC investment proposal and project implementation. By leveraging investment to gain the products China commercial rights as well as to obtain the meaningful ROI for LPs
  • Led the cross-functional team to analyze and implement new strategy responding to the challenge of price-cut in order to mitigate the impact on CP products
  • Conducted due diligence and China market forecasting for CP global projects
  • Performance management for Wound Care China (top-down meetings, regional performance review, MBR/QBR, forecast, KPI, HQ visit)
  • S&T analysis on account segmentation, visit & call targets
  • ABP process owner, sales target setting, incentive plan
  • Local business development analysis & strategic projects (e.g. market research, community channel, distributor set-up)
  • Investment case development
  • Develop and implement new commercial processes (e.g. pricing, listings)
  • Participate and represent China Wound Care at global level – together with VP, Wound Care China

Professional Experience and skill

  • Master degree (or MBA) in business, finance, strategy or related area
  • Experience in setting the strategic direction and building strong commercial plans together with sales leadership – and drive the strategic implementation
  • Proven track record in leading and driven large complex commercial processes.
  • Cross culture experience from more than one country and experience from working in both HQ and a subsidiary is preferred
  • Project management experience with commercial planning, business cases etc. and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and process skill
  • Fluent in English (and Chinese is preferred)
  • HQ experience (Coloplast experience is preferred) is an advantage
