BI & Application Engineer

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Part 1 BI Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Manage and maintain MS Azure SQL Database and MS Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Create and manage tabular models to support data analysis and reporting.
• Handle daily operational task like pipeline monitoring and incidents
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI solutions.
• Deploy solutions to test and production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices.
Part 2: Application Responsibilities
• Refinement responsible of technical solutions in CRM and other commercial systems including integrations.
• Bridging the gap between Coloplast business capability requirements and the solutions signed off.
• Understand selected customer facing solutions, bring solutions together into an end-to-end product.
• Be involved in and supervise the development. In some cases, manage the configuration yourself.
• Proactively contribute to the entire sprint process signing off the technical solution including test scripting and test documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Both CRM and BI developer experience are a prerequisite and preferable + 3-5 years
Functional development skills with architectural mindset
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, MS Azure SQL Database, and MS Azure Data Factory
Experience with tabular models and PowerBI
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication, motivational and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Speak and write English fluently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure BI tools and technologies.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
