The Senior Market Manager for Ostomy Care is responsible for developing, implementing and communicating the marketing strategy and marketing plan and subsequently ensures a solid execution of the activity plan for the product group Ostomy Care. The mail goal is to achieve market share growth and increase turnover for our Ostomy Care products.

 

Responsabilities

  • Leads the marketing team which consists of a consumer marketing manager, product manager and marketing assistants
  • Acts as contact person towards global marketing for ostomy care
  • Initiates and optimizes relations with relevant opinion leaders and patient organizations
  • Determines the deployment of people and means (multi-channel approach)
  • Decides on deployment of marketing budget

 

Product- en Market Knowledge:

  • Has up-to-date marketing information and product knowledge;
  • Is able to translate market dynamics, user demography and information gathered from advisory boards and key opinion leaders;
  • Acts as a source of information about all product questions within the product group;

Sales- and Relationship management:

  • Maintains and optimizes relations and contacts with key opinion leaders and patient boards;
  • Works with customer groups to obtain feedback on current- and next generation products;
  • Translates and implements international materials to local campaigns;
  • Continuously drives and stimulates sales of Coloplast products within department with Territory Managers and nurses;
  • Prepares and presents products and materials in collaboration with the Sales Manager OC on national sales meetings;
  • Involves colleagues and stakeholders in the market approach;
  • Performs customer and targeted market communication to external target groups;
  • Leads the OC marketing team;

Planning and Execution:

  • Develops strategy for market approach, is able to prioritize;
  • Realizes an effective and efficient spending of the market budget.
  • Develops marketing activities including prices, market analyses, product improvements and advertising strategies;
  • Drives the launch planning for new Coloplast products in the Dutch market;
  • Positioning new and current products (portfolio management);
  • Implements and executes on approved programs for specific product assortment or service programs;

Business Development:

  • Develops programs and services which support the product use;
  • Identifies and take actions on opportunities to expand the use of OC;
  • Defines and executes market research, analyses market research focused on developing new or improved products and concepts;
  • Tests new concepts and methods and aligns with international stakeholders;
  • Responsible for forecast;

People Management

  • Ensures adequate follow up, reports and guidance to the team
  • Develops people within the team
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Gives trust to the team
  • Can motivate the team

 

Profile

 

  • BSc of MSc in Business or Marketing
  • Extensive Marketing experience, preferably 3rd  career step
  • Excellent command of the Dutch, French and English language
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency required
