Territory Manager Interventional Urology

Today, our activities focus on intimate health care in interventional urology, ostomy care, continence care and wound and skin care. Interventional urology involves diseases of the urinary system: pelvic floor prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, benign prostate hyperplasia, kidney and ureter stones, overactive bladder and erectile dysfunction. Our interventional therapies change patients lives. In this field, Titan®, Altis® and Isiris® are major innovations.

Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager in the Eastern part of the Netherlands within our Interventional Urology Sales Team.

What you will do?

  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales and market share targets (according to Year and Quarterly targets and based on strategic/tactic business plan);
  • Grow product portfolio in hospitals by direct sales (and indirect sales in the community) and by offering in tenders (focus on an appropriate product mix);
  • Develop high level knowledge of product features and OR procedures;
  • Analyze new market segments and introduce new products;
  • Develop an annual business plan for the territory in order to achieve maximum results and fine tune this each quarter;
  • Recognize healthcare trends in your territory and adapt your plans accordingly;
  • Develop strong relationships with our key opinion leader network, customers and stakeholders in order to deliver on agreed results;
  • Understand the market dynamics on a macro and micro level (on a national/regional level   and HC legislation & local DMU’s in hospitals);
  • ‘Listening and respond’ offer custom made advise and solutions to our customers. Be there in OR when the customer needs support;
  • Create partnership with urologists, gynecologist, OR nurses, purchasers & pharmacists and support Health Care professionals in the OR to warrant the correct use of our products;
  • Demonstrate the Coloplast mission, values and leadership competencies;
  • Use the reporting tools to provide timely and accurate feedback (CRM/Monthly report).


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor (HBO) or Academic degree in a relevant area;
  • Experience in a sales position within a medical devices organization and/or in an organization linked to the medical branch;
  • Experience in working in the operating room either as a nurse or due to your para medical background;
  • Strong communication & influencing skills;
  • Excellent selling, negotiating and networking skills and strong analytical skills;
  • Experience with contracts and tenders;
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Fluent (both written and spoken) in Dutch and English;
  • Strong personal commitment;
  • Self-starter, team player.
