Sr. Market Manager Ostomy Care

The Sr. Market Manager Ostomy Care (OC) develops, implements and communicates the marketing strategy and marketing plan and subsequently ensures a solid execution of the activity plan for the product group Ostomy Care.

About the department

You will lead the Ostomy Care marketing team in The Netherlands, which consists of a Consumer Marketing Manager, a Product Manager and a Marketing Coordinator and liaise with Territory Managers, Consumer Care Specialists and the Manager Payers & Trade in order to monitor implementation in the field and gather current field information.

You are also the contact person towards Global Marketing for Ostomy Care and initiate and optimize relations with relevant opinion leaders and patient organizations.

In this position you report to the Marketing Director.


The job

As a top priority we expect the Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Ostomy Care Marketing team and to determine the deployment of people and means (multi-channel approach). You also decide on deployment of the marketing budget and promotion mix.


Furthermore the Marketing Manager defines and executes market research focused on developing new or improved products and concepts, tests new concepts and methods and aligns with international stakeholders and is responsbile for forecast.

The planning of promotional activities is also one of your tasks, as well as initiating or attributing to international projects within Coloplast. You play a leading role in preparing and presenting materials during (national) sales meetings.




  • BSc of MSc in Business or Marketing.
  • Extensive Marketing experience (10 years plus), preferably in a consumer sales organization.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM databases.
