Market Access & Government Affairs
In Market Access, we work on developing reimbursement strategies and tools to support local applications and negotiations with payers within our therapy areas Chronic Care and Wound & Skin Care. We provide strategic input to both product, clinical and health economic evidence design during the product development process, and we drive the global support to our subsidiaries in local reimbursement and market access activities. Further, we develop our capabilities to demonstrate the value and health outcomes generated by our patient support programs and integrated/digital solutions.
In Government Affairs & Patient Advocacy, we work to ensure that the people who need our products and services can get them and ensure that societies and insurance institutions prioritise a willingness to fund personalised intimate care for people with a chronic condition. This means having dialogues with a number of different external stakeholders – patient groups, payers, government agencies, industry associations, and healthcare practitioners, among others – to raise disease awareness and highlight unmet patient needs. We engage in complex issues like new life science regulations, healthcare reforms, reimbursement & procurement systems to ensure that countries have the right health policy and payment frameworks in place for our products and services to be accessible and affordable for patients. In close cooperation with our subsidiaries, we drive health & life science advocacy by preparing value stories, facilitating delegation visits and engaging in partnerships.
