Product owners at Comfort Medical play a critical role in driving successful launches of business initiatives. We are looking for an experienced project manager with technical experience to lead our next generation of digital solutions. In this role, you will partner with business and development resources to define, document, test, and launch solutions that will have a direct and measurable impact on Comfort Medical’s growth. This role will own various projects in our digital ecosystem, driving the capabilities that we need to reach our patients.

This position will be located at Comfort Medical (Coral Springs, FL), reporting to the Sr Manager of Software Development, and maintaining close communication with Global IT.

Expected travel days: 5% to 10%

Major Areas of Accountability

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to understand business and patient needs. Translate these needs into well-defined product requirements (epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria).
• Create and maintain roadmaps and backlogs for several projects.
• Work with our small, fast-paced development team to refine requirements and prepare for the next iteration.
• Prioritize product requirements based on stakeholder input, evolving strategic goals, and maximizing benefit to the end-user.
• Communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders. Set stakeholder expectations regarding deliverables, timeline, etc.
• Drive the validation/test processes (Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification).
• Partner with the training team and department management to plan, develop, and oversee user training for new and revised applications.
• Manage IT Resource Management documentation and change management processes.
• Adhoc responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree within business, computer science, process management or equivalent.
• 5 years of product or project development experience.
• Proven project management experience with at least one major technical implementation.
• Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and PowerBI.
• Experience working in Jira or DevOps.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably within a DME business.
• Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. mobile apps, APIs, real-time alerts, etc.
