
The Senior Financial Analyst will be the key finance partner for Comfort Medical. The Analyst will be responsible for reporting actuals, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial analytics for their key stakeholders. The Analyst will analyze data outputs to identify trends and provide recommendations for actions to optimize results. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Manager, Finance and Planning.

Major Areas of Accountability
|
- Maintain routine performance reporting for various aspects of the business.
- Performance variance analyses against planned KPIs to explain results versus plan.
- Create novel reporting to investigate company performance across multiple departments with an emphasis on actionable insights.
- Be a trusted business partner for the Leadership Team to create and maintain value-add reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and/or optimize existing reporting with a focus on automation while maintaining reporting integrity.
- Month-end close responsibilities inclusive of updating reports, consolidations, executive-level summaries, and presentations.
- Active involvement in quarterly planning cycles and inter-planning strategic updates including sales, cost of goods sold, department budgets, and headcount.
- Analyze performance reporting, including operational reports, to determine financial impacts of business operations and decisions.
- Partner on Strategic Initiatives as the Finance subject matter expert to quantify financial impacts.

Basic Qualifications
|
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related major from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis or financial reporting/planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications, principally Microsoft Excel
- Ability to extract and consolidate data from multiple systems
- Ability to analyze data from multiple, large datasets and consolidate into actionable insights
- Creative and strategic mindset
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to solve problems and work independently
Preferred Qualification
- A high impact individual who is comfortable working with strong executive management
- A self-motivated individual that thrives in an environment characterized by growth, change and opportunity, and has the potential to grow beyond the current role.
- Experience in the field of Medical Devices including Revenue Cycle Management. Preferred experience in Durable Medical Equipment.
