We are currently seeking a Clinical Educator to join our growing Clinical Education team.  This is a field based role covering North England / Scotland. 

 

About the role

 

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring presentations to a range of stakeholders within your territory. You will work in collaboration with our Territory Sales Managers and Field Nurses to build trusted and lasting relationships with our customers. This is an autonomous and field based role that requires someone who is highly motivated, has a commercial focus and a passion for Tracheostomy care. You will be required to travel across your territory with overnight stays being required approximately 2-3 times per month. The role reports to our Head of Clinical Education who is a Speech and Language Therapist.


Your responsibilities

 

  • Keep up to date with current literature and practices across Tracheostomy care.
  • Provide clinical support to our customers and share clinical best practices in tracheostomy care.
  • Design and deliver evidence-based presentations for local, regional and national healthcare practitioner educational events on tracheostomy, Atos Medical’s products, relevant clinical evidence and clinical applications.
  • Provide Tracheostomy education and training to new starters of Atos Medical as part of their induction process and to current staff as a part of their ongoing learning and development.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current products and best practice in the field
  • Work closely with the Global Product Development team to provide feedback for improvements to current products and development of new products.
  • Assist with the application process of new products for the NHS drug tariff and NHS Supply Chain, providing clinical information on products where needed.
  • Support our marketing team in creating materials for patients and health care professionals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and customers.

 

About you

 

  • Qualified Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist or Nurse with a minimum of 4 years’ clinical experience in direct tracheostomy care in both the acute & outpatient settings
  • Highly motivated with good organisation skills.
  • Flexible with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • A thirst for learning and sharing ideas, particularly around innovative medical therapies and technology.
  • Confident communicator and presenter in both small groups and much larger group settings.
  • Excellent understanding of IT systems/packages
  • Positive and can-do attitude even when times are tough
