We are looking for:
We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic leader to oversee the Marketing Events Team. This supervisory role will lead the team to coordinate and support in executing on a large volume of multiple simultaneous events across the country.
Main job responsibilities:

Delegate and supervise tasks to the Marketing Events Team. This includes the creation, preparation, and execution of all promotions and events with a high degree of quality support, to ensure the smooth running of promotional operations

Plan, budget and oversee assigned projects

Creating and maintaining events calendar to ensure continued revenue/business objectives are met and promotions/events are prepared for in a timely manner

Facilitate weekly one on one meetings with each team member

Facilitate group training session and ongoing training sessions with team to continuously improve the team’s capabilities

Responsible for maintaining effective use of resources, scheduling, staff levels, expense tracking, purchases, etc.

Maintains cost and resources for promotions and events. Maintain timely procedures for the tracking and execution of all pertinent invoices and bills with regard to special events and off property events.

Accomplish team results by coaching, counseling, and performance management of all direct reports

Propose ideas to improve the overall execution of events, based on feedback

Provide reports, statistics and status updates to management regarding all departmental KPIs.

Standardize, processes and train new employees entering the department/company

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote Community Events

Coordinate content, handle client inquiries and troubleshoot before and on the day of the customer events

Ensure that insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations, are followed

Conduct post-event evaluations
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 2 years of Leadership experience
-
Proven experience as an events planner or organizer

Impressive portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)

Ability to manage multiple projects independently
